Place-Based Service-Learning is Coming to SSU!

The Faculty Fellows for the Center for Community Engagement have been working hard to prepare for a wonderful opportunity for Sonoma State faculty to learn more about service-learning.

Whether you are a faculty member who is experienced in teaching service-learning, or just curious about what service-learning is, please join us on April 19 to learn about place-based service-learning. The event will feature several community partners, including University Elementary at La Fiesta, Sonoma State Library’s Community Diary Project, as well as representatives for the Common Read.

There will be an opportunity to learn about service-learning (SL) opportunities, discuss SL ideas, access SL resources, as well as to interact with each other in person!

Mark your calendars for April 19 from 1-2:30pm and register for the event for catering purposes bit.ly/CCEKO22.
