I think service-learning is very beneficial because it gets students out into the community and teaching them more about what's going on in their own backyard.

Unfortunately in America, thousands of fillers, chemicals, and ingredients that are associated with major health problems are still used by our food industry.

I had an absolute blast doing my service-learning project with Gold Ridge Preschool! Originally, I expected this project to really only be an assignment I would do for class and that be the end.
